ATCHISON —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a Kansas felon on new charges after an incident at a home in Atchison.
Just after 11p.m. on Wednesday police responded to a disturbance at a residence in the 1400 block Unity Street in Atchison, according to Police Chief Mike Wilson.
Police took 22-year-old Dwayne A. Nixon into custody at the scene on charges involving two female victims.
He remains in custody on requested charges that include aggravated domestic battery, aggravated assault, domestic battery, and possession of marijuana.
