NODAWAY COUNTY —A St. Joseph man was injured in an accident just before 4:30a.m. Sunday in Nodaway County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2012 Toyota Camry driven by Quincy L. Nichols, 19, St. Joseph, was westbound on Route M and in Barnard and failed to stop at the stop sign at 4th and Mckenzie Street.
The car crossed the center of the road, struck an embankment, a retaining wall, went airborne, struck another embankment and overturned.
Nodaway County EMS transported Nichols to Mosaic in St. Joseph. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
