Wanda Jean King Blevins, 91, Mound City, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2025.
She was born June 7, 1934 in Maryville, Missouri, to H.G. and Ada Mae (Hawkins) King. She was a 1952 graduate of Central High School in St. Joseph, Missouri.
Wanda married Donald L. Blevins in April 1953, and to this union four children were born. They later divorced but remained friends.
She worked numerous sales job in Northwest Missouri and the Kansas City area during her career.
Wanda attended St. Patrick Catholic Church in Forest City and Co-Cathedral Catholic Church in St. Joseph.
Most of all, Wanda was a loving mother and grandmother, who leaves her family with many cherished memories.
She was preceded in death by her parents; former husband, Donald L. Blevins; sons, Donald Lee Blevins, Jr. and James Patrick Blevins; and brother, Dennis King.
Survivors include her children, Terri Blevins-White (Glen Davis) and David Craig Blevins (Penny); grandchildren, Brittany, Michael, Gregory, Taylor, Alex, Morgan, Raegan, and Lee Ann; great-grandchildren, Alex, Tess, Tyler, Summer, Brody, Cole, Drake, Tate, Thea Bella, Mika, Morgan, Hunter, Henley, Hayden, and one on the way; great-great-grandchildren, Brooks and Easton; and special friends, Teri Beth and Jodi.
Private Services and Inurnment, Mount Hope Cemetery, Mound City, Missouri. Arrangements under the direction of Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Mound City Nutrition Site.
