HOLT COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 6p.m. Thursday in Holt County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2024 Ford F350 driven by a 37-year-old Macon, Georgia, man was northbound on U.S. 59 at 3rd Street in Craig. The Ford struck an eastbound 2015 Chevy 2500 driven by a 24-year-old Oregon, Missoui man, who had just turned north onto U.S. 59.
After impact the Chevy traveled off the road and struck a telephone pole.
Atchison-Holt ambulance transported the Ford driver to Mosaic Life Care. The Chevy driver was not wearing a seat belt and not transported for treatment, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
