Laurie Ryan, 62, Saint Joseph, Missouri, passed away Thursday, January 9, 2025.
She was born August 13, 1962, to William Talkington and Carole (Reynolds) Thero in Saint Joseph, Missouri.
She was a cherished daughter, sister, cousin, and friend adorned with the spirit of adventure.
Laurie received an associate’s degree in business before dedicating many years as a skilled Legal Secretary.
She loved to travel, and this passion led her to St. Thomas and where she met Barry Ryan, with them later marrying in the early 1990s. Music was another passion, manifesting in her talented guitar playing.
She was preceded in death by her father; sister, Robin Annette Talkington; and beloved maternal and paternal grandparents.
Survivors include her mother Carole Thero (Dale); brother, Travis Talkington (Vicki Nedens); bestie and sister cousin, Robin Thornton; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and her beloved dogs and cats.
