3 hospitalized after car strikes a deer, embankment

HARRISON COUNTY—Three people were injured in an accident just before 2a.m. Saturday in Harrison County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2016 Volkswagen Jetta driven by Preston D. Trusty, 22, Eagleville, was northbound on U.S. 69 three miles north of Eagleville.

The Volkswagen struck a deer, continued northbound and struck an embankment.

NTA Ambulance transported Trusty and passengers Charles D. Bray, 21 and Peggy L. Lawson, 21, both of London, Kentucky to Harrison County Community Hospital. They were not wearing seat belts, according to the MSHP.
