BUCHANAN COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 2p.m. Monday in Buchanan County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2017 Ford F550 driven by David M. Johnson, 33, Amazonia, was southbound on Interstate 29 in the city limits of St. Joseph.
The truck rear-ended the towed unit of a 2021 Ram 3500 driven by James B. Martin, 73, Tulsa, Oklahoma, who was slowing for traffic.
Buchanan County EMS transported Martin to Mosaic Life Care. Johnson was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
