Kansas felon jailed after drug task force investigation

BROWN COUNTY —Law enforcement are investigating a Kansas felon on new allegations after an arrest.

On Tuesday, the Brown County Sheriff's Office Drug Task Force initiated a search warrant at 111 Flora St. #9 in Fairview, Kansas, according to Sheriff John Merchant. 

Deputies arrested 45-year-old  James Parr of Fairview on requested charges of Possession of Meth, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  He has previous convictions for burglary, theft and for drugs, according to the Kansas Department of Corrections.
