Missouri woman injured after SUVs collide

CLINTON COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 5p.m. Saturday in Clinton County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe driven by a 33-year-old Independence, Mo. woman was northbound on the exit from Interstate 35 at Route PP in Holt.  A 2019 GMC Acadia driven by a 68-year-old Holt man was eastbound on Route PP. The front of the GMS struck the driver's side of the Hyundia.

Holt EMS transported a 37-year-old passenger, a Kansas City, Mo. resident, from the Hyundai to Liberty Hospital.  The drivers were not injured. The Hyundia driver was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
