Devin Taylor Hall, 32, died unexpectedly at a Wetmore, Kansas residence.
Devin was born to Barbara Slemp, August 24, 1992, and was raised by his grandmother Susan Clary and his uncle Mark Hall, whom he chose to be his Dad. Devin attended school in Hiawatha and later obtained his GED.. He loved to play video games, putting puzzles and 3D puzzles together.
Devin made friends easily and no one was a stranger to him. He learned to cut hair and did amazing free style art drawings; he loved scary movies and always requested peanut butter on anything!
Devin is preceded in death by his grandmother Susan Clary, nephew Daniel, Uncle Mike and great-grandpa; great aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his father and step-mother Mark and Beth Hall of Hiawatha, his mother Barbara Slemp of Topeka, Kansas, a brother Kevin Hall of Hiawatha, a sister LaTesa Ruckstuhl Family at Falls City, Nebraska, and brother Steven Ruckstuhl Family of Ottawa.
A Celebration of Devin's Eternal Life is planned for 1 p.m. Saturday, March 8, 2025, at the Eternal Hope Worship Center in Hiawatha. Pastor Rich Lehmkuhl will officiate. Inurnment will be at a later date at the Claytonville Cemetery, south of Hiawatha.
Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday and Friday until 4;30 p.m. to sign the register book at Chapel Oaks Funeral Home, Hiawatha.
