Pamela Sue Plymell passed away December 21st, 2025 surrounded by family and love.
Pam was born on January 23, 1966 in Cameron, Missouri, to Ronald and Linda Moore. Pam became a big sister and lifelong friend to her sisters Tricia and Julie, and loved every minute of time they got to spend together. Pam married Mark Plymell on June 28th, 1986. From their marriage came their only child, Travis.
Pam graduated from Winston High School in 1984. Pam was a gifted athlete, helping to take her high school basketball team to a second-place finish in the state basketball tournament in 1983. Pam played fast pitch softball and volleyball in adulthood, and late into her life continued a love of bowling and golf, making many lifelong friends and memories.
Pam started her working career as a beautician in Winston, MO. Once she became a mom, she stayed home taking care of Travis. Later, she started working for the Bethany Parks and Recreation department as a custodian, and made many lifelong friends there. The next adventure she started on was working at North Central Career Center, where she was a custodian/bus driver. It was here she made many more lifelong friends, and loved every coworker, friend and student with her ever changing smile and warmth.
The greatest time of her life was when she was blessed with a daughter-in-law, Julianne, and her most special treasures, her grandchildren, Chloe and Thomas. She was the proudest grandmother, and loved and cherished them and the time they got to spend together.
Pam was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Jay and Della Caldwell; paternal grandparents, Paul and Juanita Uthe; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Hazel Plymell; brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Joyce Jennings; and brothers-in-law, Charles Blake and Mark Adams; along with several aunts and uncles.
Survivors include her husband, Mark Plymell; son, Travis (Julianne) Plymell; grandchildren, Chloe and Thomas; parents, Ronald (Jonalee) Moore and Linda (Pat) Perry; sisters, Tricia (Albert) Smit and Julie (Shawnette) Moore; brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Sue Plymell; and sister-in-law, Sharon Adams; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends, who will cherish her forever.
A memorial service will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, December 29, 2025 at Roberson Funeral Home, 1107 S. 25th St., Bethany, MO 64424. A visitation will be from 1:00 – 2:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home. Pamela was cremated under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home. Memorials and contributions are suggested to the White Oak Cemetery in New Hampton, MO or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
