ATCHISON COUNTY, Kan.—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a third burglary in Atchison in the past week.
According to Police Chief Mike Wilson the burglary occurred at a home in the 600 block North 2nd Street sometime between Thursday and Monday.
Suspects took two rifles, a playstation, cash and tools. The total value around $2,500, according to Wilson.
This is the third burglary now under investigation that occurred while college students were away from residences during the extended Easter weekend.
