DAVIESS COUNTY—A Missouri man died in an accident just before 7:30p.m. Saturday in Daviess County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2002 Dodge Durango driven by Guy R. Stanley,89, Higginsville, was northbound on MO 13 and traveled through the intersection at MO 6 in Gallatin.
The SUV traveled off the road, collided with trees and traveled down a steep embankment. Stanley was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to Stith Funeral Home. The MSHP did report seat belt usage information.
