ATCHISON COUNTY, MO. —One person died in an accident just after 3a.m. Saturday in Atchison County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2013 Ford F250 driven by a 21-year-old Omaha, Nebraska man was eastbound on 310th Street at Route N ten miles north of Mount City. The driver failed to stop at the stop sign. The pickup traveled through the intersetion and struck a tree.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. EMS transported a 21-year-old male passenger to to Mosaic Life Care. The driver was not wearing a seat beltm according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victins.
