Jennifer B. (Haynes) Fletchall, 75, of Saint Joseph, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2024, at Mosaic Life Care. She was born on June 18, 1948, in Saint Joseph, to the late Virgil “Doc” Haynes and Constance “Connie” (Bullock) Miller.
Jennifer was a 1966 graduate of Savannah High School, where she took pride in being a member of the Glee Club and the Latin Club. After high school, she pursued a fulfilling career with the Internal Revenue Service, where she served as a tax examiner for 17 years until her retirement.
A devout member of Hillcrest Bible Church, Jennifer found joy in attending services and singing in the
church choir. Her passion for the arts was evident through her lifelong participation in local theater productions. She was not only a talented performer but also an enthusiastic supporter of the arts community.
Jennifer's greatest joy in life was her family. She was a loving mother and grandmother, always cherishing the time spent with her loved ones. Her nurturing spirit extended to animals, with a particular affection for her beloved cats. She will be profoundly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
She is survived by her two daughters, Rikki Angelique Wade (Brent) and Nicole Ruth Thayne (Eddie); four grandchildren, Corey Henry (Rebecca), Isabel Imlay, Taylor J. Wade, and Bruce Thayne. Jennifer also leaves behind her siblings, Michelle Foutch, Cyndi Haynes, Mark Haynes (Vickie), and Norma Jean Haynes (Eric Easton), as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her stepfather Orval L Miller, stepmother Frances Haynes, and a sister, Fonda Hilton.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel, with interment following at Memorial Park Cemetery. After the committal service, the family invites friends and loved ones for food and fellowship at Hillcrest Bible Church. The family will receive friends Monday, June 17, 2024 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
