Angela Jeane Jones, 49, Kansas City, Missouri, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2026.
She was born February 14, 1976 to William “Tom” and Marion “Cathy” (Nikes) Jones in San Diego, California.
Angela earned her master's degree from Boise State University. Her thirst for knowledge and excellence translated into a career, where she served as a respected manager at BNSF Railroad.
On April 1st, 2022, Angela's heart was joined forever with that of her beloved husband, Ray Fortner, in a union filled with exploration, joy, and companionship.
Angela was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, and friend. Her spirit, a bright light in the lives of those she touched, will continue to flicker eternally in the hearts of her loved ones.
Survivors include her husband, Ray; daughter, Avery Ohrberg; and parents, Tom and Cathy Jones.
