PLATTE COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just after 5p.m. Saturday in Platte County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2015 Mercedes driven by Alejandro J. Blachar, 58, St. Joseph, was northbound on Interstate 29 just north of Platte Woods.
The driver lost control of the vehicle on the wet road and struck a 2001 Oldsmobile driven by Dion O. Thompson, 33, St. Louis.
KC Fire transported two teen passengers in the Oldsmobile to St. Lukes. Blachar and Thompson were not injured. All four were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the MSHP.
