ANDREW COUNTY —The Missouri State Highway Patrol Division of Drug and Crime Control is investigating a reported burglary that occurred Thursday in Andrew County, according to a media release from the Patrol.
A preliminary investigation indicates that just before 10p.m. Thursday, the Andrew County Sheriff's office received a 911 call of a burglary on County Road 375. Deputies learned the burglary involved an altercation and the victim, a 70-year-old St. Joseph man, sustained a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No arrests have been made. The Patrol reported no additional details.
