Violet Joanellen Robinson-Springs, 86, of St. Joseph, MO, passed away on February 11, 2023.
Violet was born on September 27, 1936 to Truman Sample and Violet (Parker).
She was a homemaker throughout her life. She raised eight children. William (Teresa) Saunders, Sr., Mickey Saunders, Tammy King, Esther (James) Fattig, Starla Balabon, Penny Lynann (Darren) Johnson, Charles (Tina) Robinson, Angel (Charles) Stagner, and a step-daughter Debra (Tim) Culver; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Wayne Sample, Sr., Larry (Mary) Sample, Ernest (Tammy) Parker; sisters Mercedes Holbert and Anita (Tom) Helton.
Violet was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Charles Robinson, Sr., and second husband Louie Springs, and brother Estel Sample
She lived life by her faith in God. She loved to bake and cook. She loved to sing, and she played the guitar when she was younger, but most of all she loved her family more than anything.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 16, 2023 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel. Services will be Friday, February 17, 2023, at 1:00pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Stewartsville Cemetery, Stewartsville, MO.
