Mary Jo Moppin, 89, Platte City Missouri, passed away Sunday, December 24, 2023 at her home. She was born on August 19, 1934 to Dee and Emma Jordan. She married Arthur O Moppin on August 12, 1953. They had 5 children. Mary Jo was a homemaker. She also babysat numerous children in her home over the years. She was a collector of dolls, clocks and roosters. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Danny and brother Leonard Jordan. She is survived by her daughter, Charlotte Moppin of Flora Indiana. Her sons, Curtis (Judy), Steve (Julie), and Donald all of Platte City, Missouri. Grandsons Scott, Travis, Josh and Mitchell. Great grandchildren Grace, Quintin, Oliver and Everly. A sister Juanita West and a brother John Dee Jordan. A visitation will be held on Tuesday January 02, 2024 from 5-7 pm at Rollins Funeral Home, Platte City, Missouri. A private graveside service will be held At Greens Cemetery in Platte City.
