New COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations continue to ease in Buchanan County.
The St. Joseph Health Department reports 227 new coronavirus cases since last issuing an official report on Monday, with 58 on Tuesday, 119 on Wednesday, and 50 on Thursday.
The department does report an additional death from COVID complications, a man in his 60’s who died late last month.
The Buchanan County positivity rate dropped as well, falling more than five percent to 21.37%.
Mosaic Life Care reports a drop in COVID-19 patients with 41 being treated system-wide; 40 in St. Joseph and one in Maryville.
