Diann Catherine Wiberg 1937 - 2022

Diann Catherine Wiberg (Wichner), 85, passed away peacefully at home Monday morning, November 28th, 2022.
 
Diann was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on February 11th, 1937, to Elmer and Catherine (Winnemore) Wichner. The family moved to New Jersey, where Diann graduated from Vineland High School in 1955. She attended Zion Bible Institute in East Providence, Rhode Island, where she met C. Edward Wiberg, who she married in 1956. Ed & Diann soon moved to Newfield, New Jersey, where they raised their family.

Throughout the years, Diann was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ and a lifelong learner.  She passionately studied the bible and taught children’s Sunday School and adult Bible studies.

She took classes in Spanish and sign language, with the goal of working with the deaf community. Passionate about her ministry, she became an ordained minister to the deaf and taught sign language classes to children and adults.

She also enjoyed gardening, baking, and studies in Hebrew, archaeology, and astronomy.
 
Diann is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Ed.

She is survived by her sisters Carol Elbertson of Delaware, and Sandra Gray of New Jersey, her four children Charles (Beth) of Tampa, Florida, Arnold (Peggy) of Vineland, New Jersey, Christine of Lansing, Kansas, and Dana (Debbie) of Mulica Hill, New Jersey, sixteen grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren. 

Diann moved to Kansas to live with her daughter following the death of her husband. No service is planned at this time.
