Bystanders watched as two young women jumped from a Chevy SUV on Monday evening as it made its way into Corby Pond.
No one was injured during the incident. For more than an hour, the Gower Dive Team assisted the St. Joseph Police and Fire departments along with AllStar Towing and Recovery to remove the vehicle from pond.
St. Joseph Police Department Capt. Brad Kerns said the vehicle went through two of the large rocks meant to be parked behind and confirmed that there were no injuries.
