Joy Ann Rose Clymer, 72, of St. Joseph, passed away Friday, January 19, 2024.
Joy Ann was born on July 4, 1951 in Denver, Colorado, to the late Robert Herman and Joy Ann (Ashbrook) Hodes. She was a graduate of St. Teresa's Academy. She married Robert Clymer in Oklahoma and they were married for over thirty years. He preceded Joy Ann in death on March 31, 2015.
Joy Ann retired from Bothwell Hospital in their Environmental Services Department.
Joy Ann loved spending time with her grandchildren. She also loved horses and her cats. Joy Ann's hobby was shopping on QVC. She loved to watch Hallmark Christmas movies.
Joy Ann is survived by her children, Michael Clymer, James Zoffka, and Susie Nettleton; step-children, Robyn Hayley and Robert Clymer; grandchildren, Samantha Parmenter, Sierra Hubbard, Stephanie Clymer, Amber Dawn, Lycee Hayley, Angelina Hayley, Devlin Hayley, Sabrina and Cody Clymer; great-grandchildren Cliffton Thomas Clymer, Bentley Cruz McLeod, Declan Phillip James Parmenter, Izzie Parmenter, and Rayden McLeod; siblings Debbie Heitzman, Connie Heitman, Teresa Lange, Susie Vaughn, Patty Skinner, Mickey Parton, Jeannie Hodes, Bobby Hodes, Andrew Hodes, and Adam Hodes.
She was preceeded in death by her parents, husband, and sister, Katherine Rose Viesselman.
Funeral Service 1:00 PM, Friday, January 26th at Heaton-Bowman-Smith and Sidenfaden Chapel. Interment to follow at the Savannah Cemetery. Visitation one hour prior to the service, beginning at Noon, also, at our Chapel.
