Nicole “Nikki” Lynette Taylor, 48, of King City, Missouri, passed away on Monday, Jan. 30, 2023.

She was born in Falls Church, Virginia, on Feb. 20, 1974.

Nikki was a daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and friend. Her title she loved most was Na-Na.

Nikki loved fiercely. As a mother, she was her daughters’ number one cheerleader, she rooted for their success and always supported them. As a grandmother, she continually went above and beyond; she’d be on her way to her grandbabies for any reason at all. She’d read Bible stories, capture pictures of memories and share laughs, naps and plenty of snacks with them. As a friend, Nikki was the life of the party and always ensured everyone was having a good time. She spoke her mind freely, had a free-spirited nature and a contagious laughter that filled any room she entered.

Nikki devoted a lot of her time in this life to the care and service of other people. Professionally, she was a hair stylist, where her customers became more like friends. As a single mother, she went back to school and graduated from Concorde College with honours and at the top of her class as a Registered Respiratory Therapist. As an RRT she provided exceptional care to her patients.

In recent years, Nikki found her chosen family through her passion for motorcycling. She was an active and involved member in several groups honoring Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States. She was a Patriot Guard Rider and part of the VFW Post 56 Riders, VFW Auxiliary and Stilettos on Steel.

A visitation will be held at Davis Funeral Chapel located at 531 Shawnee St., Leavenworth, KS, 66048. The visitation will be held on Feb. 4 from 8-10 a.m. with the funeral service to follow. Lunch will be provided to family and friends after the service by the VFW in Leavenworth.
