Patrick Samuel Curtis, 74, of Wathena, KS, passed away Saturday, December 2, 2023 at his home. He was born March 17, 1949 in Marceline, Missouri, son of Wilma & Samuel Curtis. He married Barbara Dilley Curtis on October 26, 1989. He graduated from Brookfield High School. He worked at Danisco Ingredients as a Formulator. Patrick enjoyed bowling, fishing, and watching football. He was a member of Family Worship Center. Patrick was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Barbara Curtis in 2020, sister, Theresa Curtis, and brother, Joe Curtis. He is survived by children, Lisa Davis of Wathena, KS, Galen "Jay" (Stepanie) Fish Jr. of Cainsville, MO, Matthew (Angie) Curtis of St Joseph, and Tara Curtis of St. Joseph, brother, Art (Nettie) Curtis of Tracy, CA, sister, Marge Carter of Lincoln, NE, grandchildren, TJ Bennett (Eleeseea), Landon Davis (Kylee), Cody Fish, Gage Davis, Brent Davis (Hayvin), Dalia Ines, Cidney Curtis, and MaKenzee Curtis, Sha Lyn Dawson, Saije Kyle, Mason and Braiden Johnson, and Kenlie Curtis, and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mr. Curtis has been cremated under the care of Rupp Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at Rupp Funeral Home. Memorials are requested to the Family Worship Center Food Pantry.
