ATCHISON COUNTY—Four people were injured in an accident just before 3:30p.m. Friday in Atchison.

A Ford pickup driven by Tim Cooper, Leavenworth, was northbound on 10th Street in Atchison. The pickup entered the intersection at Commercial Street and struck a westbound Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by 17-year-old Emily Dexter of Atchison, according to Police Chief Mike Wilson.

EMS transported&nbsp;Dexter and three of her passengers, age 9, 9, and 13,&nbsp; to Amberwell where they were treated and released, according to Wilson.

Police cited Cooper for failure to yield, according to Wilson.
