Dorothy "Raydean" Quimby ,74, of St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Monday, February 16, 2026 in Liberty, MO.
She was born October 8, 1951 in St. Joseph, daughter of the late, Dorothy and Leonard Young. Raydean drove a mail truck and also worked with handicapped individuals in their homes. She loved going to the casino and gambling. You could always find her doing a scratch off ticket.
Raydean was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Sally Ann Young, Mildred Parker, and Marlene Clements, brothers, Jerry Young, Jim Young, and Leonard Young, Jr., brother-in-law, Rodney Zimmerman, niece, Pam Johnson, and nephew, Tim Young.
Survivors include significant other of 49 years, Sherman Scrivner, daughter, Brandie Young of Kansas City, MO, step-daughter, Kristi (Gary) Largent of St. Joseph, MO, sisters, Mary Jane Johnson and Marilyn Zimmerman both of St. Joseph, MO, sister-in-law, Carolyn Bennett, granddaughter, Samantha Myers, grandson, Rex Myers Jr., step-grandchildren, Royce and Remi, and numerous other nieces and nephews.
Ms. Quimby has been cremated under the care of Rupp Funeral Home. There are no scheduled services at this time.
