GENTRY COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before noon Thursday in Gentry County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2007 Ford Focus driven by a 16-year-old girl from Denver, Missouri, was westbound on U.S. 136 two miles east of Albany.
The driver failed to negotiate a curve. The car traveled off the road, struck an embankment and overturned.
Grand River Ambulance transported the girl to Mosaic in Albany. She was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
