ATCHISON COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities have arrested a suspect wanted in connection with a police chase in June in Atchison County.
Just before 11:20p.m. on June, an officer attempted to stop a Chevrolet Malibu in the 1600 block Main in Atchison after the vehicle was observed driving recklessly out of a convenience store parking lot, according to Police Chief Mike Wilson.
The vehicle fled from the officer east on Main to 14th, south on 14th to U.S.59, and east on U.S.59 into Missouri.
The subsequent investigation identified 36-year-old Andrew Feek as the driver of that vehicle.
On July 10, police located and took Feed into custody on Friday on a District Court warrant. He is being held on requested charges of fleeing and attempting to elude, reckless driving, speeding, and failure to stop at stop lights, according to Wilson.
