Crystal G. (Meers) Wilson, 44, Saint Joseph, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2023 after a courageous battle with a brief illness, at Saint Luke’s Hospital.
Crystal was born February 4, 1979. She attended Humboldt Elementary, Robidoux Middle School, and Lafayette High School.
Crystal loved her family and her German Shepherd, Hunter like no other. Crystal enjoyed going out and spending time with her children and husband, Mark. Crystal has written four children’s books. Hunter’s Adventures, based on her best friend, Hunter. Crystal also had love for all animals. She would say, “I wish I could save them all.”
Surviving of the home, Husband Mark Wilson, her children Rebecca, Rachell, Brandon Wilson, German Shepherd Hunter, sister Cori David (Scott), brother Kevin Meers (Jennifer), sister Dora Meers. Crystal has several nieces and nephews.
Crystal is preceded in death by her mother and father, Tami and Robin Meers, grandfather Bill Kepner, grandmother Edna Sutton, grandmother Jamie Tracy, father and mother in-law Irvin “Gene” and Mildred “Lavon” Wilson.
Crystal’s request is to be cremated. A celebration of Life memorial service will take place at a later date.
