LIVINGSTON COUNTY—A Missouri boy was injured in an accident just before 8:30a.m. Saturday in Livingston County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2006 Chevy Silverado driven by Cliff D. Wilson, 41, Chillicothe, was eastbound on Route K attempting a left turn onto northbound Route V.
The driver failed to yield. The front right of a westbound 2002 Honda 420 4-wheeler ATV driven by a 12-year-old Chula boy struck the passenger side of the pickup. The boy was ejected onto the the westbound lanes of Route V.
A private vehicle transported the boy to Hedrick Medical Center. Wilson was properly restrained and not injured, according to the MSHP.
