CLINTON COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just before 3p.m. Friday in Clinton County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2023 Peterbilt trash truck driven by a 42-year-old St. Joseph man was eastbound on Route A four miles southeast of Cameron.
The driver swerved off the south side of the road to avoid a westbound grain truck that crossed the center line. The trash truck driver then overcorrected. The trash truck traveled off the road, returned to the road, crossed the center line, traveled off the north side of the road and overturned.
A private vehicle transported the driver to Cameron Regional Medical Center. Cameron Ambulance transported a 50-year-old passenger from Maysville to Mosaic in St. Joseph.
