Debbie A. Golden, 67, Elwood, Kansas, passed away Friday, May 9, 2025.
She was born February 13, 1958 in St. Joseph, Missouri to Lyle and Connie (Miller) Sipes. She grew up in St. Joseph, where she attended Woodson Chapel Christian Church.
Debbie married Michael Joseph Golden on December 3, 1976. He survives of the home.
Debbie loved to do crossword and Sudoku puzzles, and she expressed her creative side with crochet and drawing. She was also a good cook. A big Chiefs fan with a good sense of humor, Debbie felt the most joy when spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, David Sipes, Larry Sipes, Cindy Parker, Sandy Tarwater, and Judy Heater.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Michael; her children, Michelle Jean Thomas (Mike) and Joseph Michael Golden (Megan); grandchildren, Gage Michael Thomas, Gabrielle Michelle Thomas, Joseph Michael Golden, Jr., Jack Ryan Golden, and Kate Alexis Golden; siblings, Diane Wilson (Kip), Penny Sollars, and Terry Jauhola (Jeff); several nieces and nephews.
