DEKALB COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just after 4p.m. Friday in DeKalb County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2015 Toyota 4Runner driven by a 63-year-old Stewartsville man was southbound on U.S. 169 at Rote E five miles west of Union Star. A 41-year-old Union Star man and a 3-year-old boy were attempting to cross U.S. 169. The Toyota struck both of them.
Grand River ambulance transported the pedestrians to Mosaic Life Care. There were no other injuries reported. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
