ATCHISON COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a Kansas man who continues to skip scheduled court appearances.
On Thursday, police arrested 39-year-old Shawn M. Ashworth of Troy on a Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear in court, according to Police Chief Mike Wilson.
Police arrested in April and September in 2023 on similar requested charges. In December of 2022, police arrested Ashworth on requested charges of driving while suspended and lack of vehicle liability insurance, according to online jail records.
