Another night of district champions being handed out. Girls' teams took center stage Friday night.
Girls' finals Friday
Class 1 District 15 title
#1 Stanberry 53 #2 DeKalb 33
Class 1 District 16 title
#1 Platte Valley 58 #2 South-Holt 20. Platte Valley (27-0) will host Stanberry in sectionals on Wednesday at 6. Platte Valley beat the Bulldogs in the Stanberry Invite title earlier this season, 50-39.
Class 2 District 15 title
#3 Plattsburg 51 #1 Mid-Buchanan 46. Full coverage here.
Class 2 District 16 title
#1 Bishop LeBlond 54 #2 East Atchison 38. It's the first district title for the Eagles since 2007. LeBlond will travel to Plattsburg to face the Tigers in sectionals on Wednesday at 6.
