The 2021 MINK League Champion St. Joseph Mustangs will return to Phil Welch Stadium for their 13th season this summer.
The Mustangs announced today that Fan Fest will take place at Phil Welch on Tuesday, May 31st. It's free and open to the public. The team will conduct batting practice, on-field interviews, sign autographs and more. The Mustangs will then officially kick off the season on Wednesday, June 1st at home against Clarinda.
The Mustangs will play 26 total home games in 2022. The Chillicothe Mudcats will return for its annual matchup on July 3rd, as well as the Sedalia Bombers on July 4th. The Mustangs welcome the MINK League's newest team, the Carroll Merchants, to St. Joseph on June 24th.
The MINK League playoffs will take place the final week of July, as the Mustangs will try to win a third straight MINK League Championship and their 8th in 13 seasons.
