JOHNSON COUNTY, Mo. —A Missouri man died in an accident just before 8a.m. Thursday in Johnson County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2004 Ford F150 driven by Robert E. Long, 40, Kansas City, was southbound on MO 13 just north of SE 650.
A passenger identified as Burnie G. Jordan, 54, Waverly, fell out of the bed of the truck. Jordan was airlifted to Research Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. Long was not injured.
