Brian Lee Doles, age 63, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2026 surrounded by family.
He was born on July 23, 1962 in St. Joseph, Missouri, to Leland and Joyce Doles. He graduated from Lafayette High School in 1980.
Brian was a sports enthusiast. As a child and a teenager, he loved playing baseball and was an excellent player. As an adult, he coached company softball teams and enjoyed golfing. He was an avid fan of the Chiefs and the Royals. But even more than sports, he loved his grandchildren.
Survivors include his children Mitchell Doles (Anissa), Breanna Harman, and Christy Kelley; grandchildren Derek, Reese, Hoyt, Zoe, and Phoenix; his brothers Craig (Mary Lee) and Bret Doles; his two nephews; and several lifelong friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his grandson Aiden Lee Sarnowski.
Farewell Services & Public Livestream 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 22, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will gather with friends 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 21, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory.
