CLINTON COUNTY—A Missouri man was injured in an accident just before 3a.m. Wednesday in Clinton County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2000 Chevy Impala driven by Florence J. Butcher, 44, Cameron, was southbound on U.S. 69 at the South Cameron City limits.
The hood of the Impala flew up, blew back and struck the windshield. A 2008 Kawasaki motorcycle driven by Neil T. Dodd, 31, Cameron, rear-ended the Impala, as the car turned into a private drive. After impact, the motorcycle overturned.
Cameron ambulance transported Dodd to Liberty Hospital. Butcher was properly restrained and not injured. Dodd was not wearing a helmet, according to the MSHP.
