BROWN COUNTY—A Kansas woman was injured in an accident just before 8a.m. Saturday in Brown County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2004 Buick Le Sabre driven by Charlotte Louise VanDiver, 58, Hiawatha, was eastbound on U.S. 73 just north of Nighthawk Road.
The Buick rear-ended a John Deere Tractor driven by Timothy N. Lehew, 55, Horton, and came to rest in the north ditch.
EMS transported VanDiver to Amberwell in Hiawatha. Lehew was not injured. VanDiver was properly restrained, according to the KHP.
