Ken Ramsey, 75, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Sunday, August 6, 2023.
He was born on March 14, 1948, in St. Joseph, Missouri to Harold and Alberta (Shaffer) Ramsey.
He graduated from Fillmore High School and later went on to work as a salesman for Jamieson Machine & Industrial Supply for many years.
Ken was an avid bowler, spending many nights at Olympia Lanes. He enjoyed attending Mustangs baseball games and spending his time out on the water with his fishing rod in hand. Ken was especially fond of spending time with his precious granddaughters, whom he loved dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Patricia “Pat” Ramsey; sisters, Helen and Virginia; and brother-in-law, Glenn.
Survivors include his sons, Jason Ramsey (Barbara) and Tyler Ramsey (Jennifer); step-daughters, Denise Hockaday and Christina Wilkinson; grandchildren, Olivia, Isabelle, Ella and Ava; step-grandchildren, Cody, Aaron and Hailey, and other step-grandchildren; siblings, Ruthie (Jim), Sandy (Gerald), and Don (Kim), and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Private Family Graveside Services & Inurnment 2:00 P.M. Thursday, Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will gather with friends one hour prior to the service, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory.
