ANDREW COUNTY—A Missouri man died in an accident just before 7:30p.m. Wednesday in Andrew County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2012 Chevy Traverse driven by Sharee D. Ellis, 37, Amazonia, was northbound on Route K just north of CR 392 three miles south of Amazonia.
The SUV rear-ended a motorized bicycle driven by Billy R. Mooney, 53, Amazonia.
After impact, Mooney was ejected from the bicycle and pronounced dead at the scene. Meierhoffer Funeral Home transported him from the scene to their location in St. Joseph. Ellis was not injured and properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the MSHP.
