The MIAA Football Game of the Week on 38 the Spot is returning for the 2026 season.

A total of 13 MIAA football games will be broadcast to local television audiences on 38 the Spot in the greater Kansas City area.  The schedule was designed to provide one of the conference's top matchups each week during the 2026 season.  All 10 MIAA teams will be featured throughout the 13-week schedule.  This is the first year that the MIAA Football Game of the Week schedule will feature 13 games.

"We're very excited to enter our third year featuring a MIAA Football TV Game of the Week on the Spot, Kansas City 38," said MIAA Commissioner Mike Racy in a news release. " Kansas City continues to be a great platform for sports television, which helps the MIAA office reach new audiences to showcase some of the best collegiate football programs in the Midwest. We also know that this exposure could help drive new patrons to The MIAA Network."

The Northwest Missouri State University Bearcat football team will be featured on three of the simulcasts.  The first will be September 12th when Washburn travels to Maryville to face the Bearcats.  September 26th Northwest will hit the road to Edmond, Oklahoma to take on Central Oklahoma.  The final featured matchup will see Emporia State in Maryville against the Bearcats on October 31st.

MoWest's road game at Central Missouri on September 3rd will be the first televised matchup for the Griffons.  MoWest is then back on The Spot in consecutive weeks in October, first on October 3rd at Emporia State  and then at home on October 10th facing Nebraska-Kearney for MoWest's annual Homecoming game.

All MIAA football contests will continue to be streamed live on The MIAA Network, the official digital streaming platform of the MIAA.
