ATCHISON COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect for alleged theft in Atchison.
Just after 6p.m police learned a robbery that occurred in the 300 Block of North 13th Street, according to Police Chief Mike Wilson.
Just after 10p.m. police located Darius L. Fleming, 26, Leavenworth, in the 200 block North 4th Street and took him into custody. Officers recovered a cellphone valued at $700 that had been taken. During the arrest Fleming was also found to be in possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. He remains in the Atchison County Jail, according to online records.
