Lillian McDaniel, 74, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Monday, October 23, 2023.
She was born January 6, 1949 in St. Joseph to Winston Malotte Sr. and Myrtle (Trainer) Malotte.
Lillian married Jerry Dwayne McDaniel on June 21, 1965. He survives of the home.
She was a great mom and grandmother, who loved to hear what was going on in her grandchildren’s lives. From the biggest to smallest news, she wanted to hear it all. She loved spending time with them as well, from corralling the kids when the family would go to Jerry’s softball tournaments to shopping trips.
Lillian did not have a mean bone in her body and was nice to everybody. She leaves her family a legacy of love and caring.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Jerry; children, Kim Wolterman (Paul), Dawn McDaniel, Jerry McDaniel, and Keith McDaniel (Dana); grandchildren, Aaron McDaniel, Josie McDaniel, Wyatt Evans, Cody Leslie, and Alexia McDaniel; one great-grandson; brother, Winston Malotte, Jr.; other extended family members and friends.
