St. Joseph health officials report two new COVID-19 related deaths in Buchanan County since Friday, putting the county’s death toll at 153.

The latest victims were both women - one in her 80s and another in her 90s. The county has also seen 78 new cases since Friday for a total of 9,587.

As of Saturday, there are 36 patients in the Mosaic Life Care system with 34 patients in St. Joseph, and one in both Maryville and Albany.

Andrew County reports 11 new cases for a total of 1,895.

Statewide, Missouri has seen 4,793 new cases (450,414 total) since Friday along with 26 new deaths (6,553 total).

In Kansas, there have been 2,602 new cases (269,255 total) and 24 new deaths (3,622 total) since Friday. Doniphan County reports 874 cases (+17), Atchison County, KS reports 1,412 cases (+10) and Brown County reports 1,159 cases (+12).
