Harry Fabian Calvert, 94, of St. Joseph, passed away March 22, 2024 surrounded by his family.
He was born April 19, 1929 in Andrew County, MO to James Perry and Elsie Fern (Wilson)Calvert.
He worked 35 years as a forklift driver for Affiliated Food from 1954 to 1989. He married LoisMae Hudson on August 21, 1948. They were married for 44 years before her death.
Also preceding him in death were his children, Larry, Judy, Richard, Terry; grandson Brian;siblings Forrest, Herbert, James, Esther, Vanita, Joseph, Evelyne, Mary, and Wanda.
Survivors include Daughters-in-law Janet and Loretta Calvert; son-in-law Thomas McMillian;grandchildren, Larry, Jr., Aaron, Jannel, Tommie, Mindy, Brandy, Ashley, Satoya, Richard Jr.; 14great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Services will be Thursday, March 28, 2024, at 1:00 pm at Heaton-Bowman-Smith & SidenfadenChapel. Visitation will precede the funeral beginning at 11:00 am.
