David Davenport 69, of St. Joseph, MO, passed away Thursday, September 14, 2023 at his home. He was born January 7, 1954, son of Berbie and Edward Davenport.
He graduated high school in Versailles, MO. He worked at Acme Vending for 28 years, and later Triumph Foods. Dave enjoyed bowling, playing league bowl for many years, and he also enjoyed mushroom hunting.
Dave was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Jimmy Davenport and Sandra McKinzie.
Survivors include: wife of 28 years, Patt Davenport of the home, 2 boys he raised, Chris and Travis of St. Joseph, his siblings, Ruby Davenport of Versailles, MO, Hershal Davenport of Versailles, MO, and Charles Davenport of Gravois Mills, MO, and granddaughter, Mallory Sherlock of St. Joseph.
Mr. Davenport has been cremated under the care of Rupp Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, September 22, 2023 at Rupp Funeral Home.
